ENR Mountain States and Southwest has selected Westwood Professional Services as Design Firm of the Year for Colorado and Wyoming. The firm reported revenue growth of 30% across its more than 30 locations in 2024 and expanded its workforce by close to 20%.

Westwood teams working from the firm’s Denver and Englewood, Colo.-based offices are involved in a variety of projects, including the development of Painted Prairie, a 600-acre master-planned community in Aurora, Colo.; civil engineering and site development for JAG Industrial Space, a 250-acre industrial campus also in Aurora; a 393 MW wind and battery energy storage project in Converse County, Wyo.; and solar and wind projects in Colorado’s Morgan and Sedwick counties respectively.

Employees came together as one team in 2024 to volunteer, fundraise and donate to initiatives that matter within their local communities. They donated truckloads of toys to Toys for Tots, prepared meals for families in need, built a playground in a small rural village near Gulu, Uganda, supported Engineers Without Borders in Guatemala and assisted an elementary school in planning an Outdoor Learning Center.

Firms of the Year are chosen by a vote of the regional ENR editors from across the country based on a carefully selected group of finalists. Factors include revenue growth, new initiatives, current projects, community and industry contributions and other considerations.

A story on Westwood will appear in the June 23 print issue of ENR Mountain States and Southwest, which will also feature our annual ranking of the top design firms across the seven-state region of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
