Nearly 100 firms have already filed surveys to be included in the inaugural 2025 ENR East Top Contractor ranking. While the deadline to submit has passed, there still might be time to enter a survey for the list.

Email Justin Rice at ricej@enr.com and Jack McMackin McMackinj@enr.com if you still plan to submit a survey so we can let you know how much more time you can have to submit it.

Submit your survey here.

Download a PDF copy of the survey here.

The ENR East ranking of contractors  includes firms doing business in Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. Rankings are based on total regional revenue of participating firms. Firms will also be ranked by state revenues and various specialties and disciplines, as applicable.

The new ranking follows the 2025 consolidation of ENR regional editions into five new regions to reflects an ongoing commitment to deliver the most relevant and timely coverage to readers, in alignment with the evolving landscape of the construction industry. Regional surveys will follow these new boundaries going forward. You can read more about the regional consolidation here.

The survey asks firms if they would like to be considered as a candidate for Regional Contractor of the Year. If your firm has positive news to share about company growth, major project announcements or other milestones, this is your opportunity to tell us about it!

The July 28 issue of ENR East will include features on the 2025 ENR MidAtlantic Contractor of the Year, the ENR New England Contractor of the Year and the ENR New England Contractor of the Year—the selection of which is based on a review of companies’ business achievements, projects and other accomplishments in 2024.

Read the July 28 print issue of ENR East for the region’s final Top Contractor Firms 2025 list. Also learn which firm posted the highest 2024 revenue in the region and in each individual state.
