Trevor Hunsaker has been promoted to president of Big-D Construction’s Lindon, Utah, office, which includes Big-D’s Idaho Falls office. Since joining Big-D in 2007, Hunsaker has delivered community projects that include the BYU Heritage Halls Student Housing and Gunnison Valley Hospital. The Lindon Group—including Idaho Falls—is on track to reach nearly $300 million in revenue in 2025. 

Brinkman Construction announces the promotion of Jason Vaughn to vice president. He will lead the company’s northern Colorado and southeastern Wyoming operations, overseeing business development, preconstruction and operations in the region. With more than 12 years at Brinkman, Vaughn brings extensive experience as a construction executive, director of preconstruction and project manager on complex projects throughout the Colorado Front Range. 

Nathan Goodrich, division manager at Helix Electric of Utah, has been appointed chair of the board of directors for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Utah. With nearly three decades in the electrical contracting industry, Goodrich has guided Helix’s expanded presence in Utah. Since opening the company’s Utah office five years ago, he has led its growth from a small team to an operation employing more than 200 people. 

The Sundt Cos., parent firm of general contractor Sundt Construction, announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors. Nicole Calamaio, Sundt senior vice president and chief human resources officer, and Inder Reddy, president of Smiths Detection, joined the Sundt board in February. Calamaio joined Sundt in 2014 and was named senior vice president and chief human resources officer in 2019.  Reddy previously served as chief strategy officer at Resideo Technologies and as a principal at The Boston Consulting Group. Sundt Construction also recently added Joe Baugh, senior project manager, to its building group. Baugh will lead building projects in southern Arizona and is currently assisting the team at the SunZia HVDC Voltage Source Converter Station West project in Coolidge, Ariz. Most recently, Baugh served as senior project manager for the Pima County Office of Medical Examiners project in Tucson.

The Weitz Co. has promoted Frank Dascanio to vice president and general manager of the firm’s Phoenix office. He will continue in his role of vice president and general manager of the company’s commercial unit, which works on projects nationally. Dascanio joined Weitz in 2005 and has led large-scale projects including Park West at Texas A&M University.

Suntec Concrete has named Andy Snedeker as its director of business development/marketing and Jon Galvez as marketing and communications manager. Snedeker joined Suntec in 2023 as client relationship manager, previously serving in leadership roles for George Oliver/GO Industrial, Hines and Cushman & Wakefield. Since joining Suntec in 2019, Galvez has played a key role in the company’s marketing and talent development. 

Janet Hausmann, Todd Weaver and Ty Parker were promoted to associate roles with JVA. Hausmann is a project manager with JVA’s environmental team in the Boulder, Colo., office. She has been with JVA since 2013 and has extensive experience with municipal water and wastewater projects in both the Front Range and mountain communities of Colorado. Weaver is the Boulder office CAD manager. He will continue to support JVA’s engineering staff with software, training, standards and QA/QC efforts while representing the civil department on the corporate management team. Parker, a project manager in JVA’s Denver office, has been with the civil team for 10 years and specializes in civil design and construction administration for predominantly school and municipal projects as well as senior housing and urban renewal projects.
