Construction firm PARIC, headquartered in St. Louis, has appointed Brandi Mathews as chief financial officer. Mathews has 25 years of experience, most recently as CFO of global packaging company TricorBraun. She has developed expertise in financial infrastructure development for scaling operations, risk management frameworks for complex multiyear projects, capital strategy development, balancing growth and stability and data-driven decision support for strategic initiatives.
Ryan Cos. US has promoted Maureen Michalski and Jason Gabrick to jointly lead the company’s North region encompassing Minnesota, the Dakotas and the Northeastern U.S. This leadership transition follows Tony Barranco’s advancement to Northern division president after serving as North region president since 2021. Michalski and Gabrick will oversee the region’s real estate development and construction operations and support Ryan’s architecture, engineering and real estate management practices.
Andy Doctoroff has joined WSP as project delivery manager and senior vice president of program management in the U.S. Based in Detroit, he oversees client relationships and leads multi-disciplinary teams of advisers, planners, engineers and technical experts for major transportation facilities nationwide. Doctoroff most recently led the office of project delivery at the U.S. Dept. of Transportation.
Chicago-based McHugh Construction has named Jaime Zwierznski as director of business development. Zwierzynski will focus on expanding McHugh’s client base and project pipeline through targeted relationship-building and data-driven insight. She has managed over $200 million in prospective project opportunities and brings expertise in CRM strategy, lead generation and proposal development. Prior to joining McHugh, Zwierzynski held business development roles at Interior Construction Group, REX Electric and Technologies and ECS Midwest.
Chicago-headquartered architecture firm Goettsch Partners has promoted Nickolas Popoutsis to associate principal and John Campbell and Andrew Fox to senior associate, all based in Chicago. The firm also named Yi Wang a senior associate in the practice’s Shanghai office.
The Missouri Dept. of Transportation’s St. Louis District has named Steve Miller as communications manager replacing Marie Elliott, who retired Feb. 1. Miller has 12 years of experience with the department serving at the Northeast District and Central Office. He also worked at Boeing Co. in St. Louis for nine years in various corporate communications roles. Elliott had served as St. Louis communications manager since 2007.
Chicago-based Clayco has named Mike Pierle chief operating officer of its construction business, overseeing safety programs, quality assurance initiatives, virtual design and construction (VDC) and overall construction management operations. It promoted Ryan McGuire to president for construction, leading sales, operations and preconstruction. He will continue to lead the data center and quantum computing business unit. Ryan Abbott, president of Clayco’s Southwest region, will also oversee advanced manufacturing, life science, food and beverage, e-commerce, residential, aviation and institutional markets. Conor Tighe has been promoted to vice president of preconstruction and procurement strategy.
