Allison Dane Camden has joined STV as the firm’s vice president and Pacific Northwest area manager within the firm’s transportation West group. In this role, she will lead the firm’s transportation operations across the Pacific Northwest and be responsible for managing all local teams, overseeing project delivery and nurturing client relationships. Prior to joining STV, Dane Camden served as principal deputy assistant secretary for multimodal freight infrastructure and policy at the U.S. Dept. of Transportation.
The Sound Transit board of directors has approved the choice of Dow Constantine, King County executive, to serve as Sound Transit’s next CEO. Constantine, who is completing his fourth term as King County executive, has been a member of the Sound Transit board since 2006. He is a former member of the King County Council and the Washington State Senate and House of Representatives.
JE Dunn Construction has tapped Dustin Liljehorn as its West regional president, replacing Mark Reilly, who is retiring after four decades at the firm. Liljehorn most recently led the company’s Rocky Mountain business unit. He will now oversee offices in Denver; Colorado Springs; Portland, Ore.; Phoenix; and Santa Clara, Calif.
James de la Loza has rejoined HNTB Corp. as national practice consultant for transit and senior vice president based in Los Angeles. A former chief planning officer for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, de la Loza will provide strategic guidance to HNTB’s transportation clients.
Dominic DiMare has been selected as the new chief executive officer for Alameda, Calif.-based BEI Construction. DiMare, a 22-year veteran of the firm, takes over from Michael Rantz, who led BEI for a quarter century. BEI has also appointed Gary Chelini as chief operating officer and Natu Tuatagaloa as chief revenue officer.
The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) announced the hiring of Michael O’Keefe as the agency’s deputy executive director and chief operating officer. Formerly deputy director of the city and county of Honolulu’s Dept. of Environmental Services, O’Keefe, who joined HART in 2021, has more than 16 years of management, financial and administrative experience with the city.
Brett Shwery has joined HKS as a principal and global practice director for commercial interiors. Shwery currently sits on the IIDA Southern California board. In 2022, Shwery was inducted into the International Interior Design Association’s College of Fellows, the organization’s most prestigious honor.
Suffolk has hired Chris Anderson as the general manager of its newly opened Las Vegas operation. The office will support the increasing development of gaming and hospitality projects throughout the region. Anderson will report to Pete Tuffo, Suffolk’s president of the Gulf Coast region and national gaming.
Seattle-based Manson Construction Co. has named James McNally the company’s president and CEO following the retirement of John Holmes. McNally, a 15-year veteran of the company, previously served as Manson’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, a role he assumed in 2016. Holmes is stepping down after 48 years with the company.
